Our client, a globally leading Technology Managed Services Infrastructure company supplying IT outsourcing, data center, managed hosting and network solutions requires a General Manager to Head up operations in India. The Regional Head will help to establish the Company within this high-growth region utilising current Data Centre space and partnerships / alliances. The role will be based in Mumbai.
General Manager – Country Manager – Regional Head – MD – IT Outsourcing
Focus:
To lead a joint effort with a Leading Telco in order to establish the Company in the Managed Hosting Market in this high-growth region.
Essential duties:
- •Ensure team work across the partnership business
- Establish a sales strategy to support the Alliance business stream and to engage with the direct market as appropriate
- Articulate Company products and services effectively to both technical and non-technical teams
- Raise brand awareness in the Indian market and establish a funnel of new business opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key customers in order to develop new business.
Essential:
- Over a decade in senior management or sales and sales management in India covering IT/networking/comms to include a strong background in end user corporate sales (i.e. peer to peer selling, board level contact, new business orientated) and existing senior level relationships within relevant companies in India.
- Experience of leading sales teams in highly competitive environments
- Demonstrable track record of managing operations and a service organization
- A College/University education essential, MBA desirable
This role is based in Mumbai but my client is open to non-nationals who are willing to relocate.
