Bridgestone Engineered Products of Asia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, Japan is a sales and distribution center for marine and industrial products covering areas like Asia, Middle East and India. The company has grown and expanded its territory by having subsidiaries, branches and liaison office all over the world. With an expansion, we seek a qualified candidate to fill in the following position with immediate effect.
Senior Executive, Finance & Internal Audit
(Based in Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
* Report to a Finance Manager in our Operational Headquarters and handle the full spectrum of financial and management reporting, budgetary, taxation and cost accounting matters
* Prepare group consolidated financial statements
* Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers for all financial, tax and statutory matters
* Assist Finance Manager in performing internal audit and risk management that provides assurance to the Management
* Perform other ad-hoc assignments as delegated by an immediate superior
Requirements:
* Have at least 4 years working of experience in Accounting or Auditing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Degree or Diploma in Finance/Audit/Taxation or related field
* Preferably age above 30 years old
* Fluent in English and other language skills required for local coordination a plus (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Bahasa Malaysia etc)
* Capability to adapt to continually changing work environments, multi-tasking and willing to accept new assignments whenever necessary
* Must have strong personality and able to communicate effectively at all levels
* Analytical ability to identify weaknesses and the capacity to translate findings into meaningful recommendations in a clear and concise manner in an audit report
* Willingness to travel as required
